Recent commenter Jason dropped a question about Mt. Pleasant’s La Senorita restaurant, and I had no idea what he was talking about.  So I went hunting on twitter, found the above pic, got angry, and then stumbled on this Mourning Sun article.  It’s a good read, even if every sentence in the most interesting section ends in “Sura said.”

The employee who put up the words was disciplined, Sura said.It was also not an indication of what the community means to the restaurant’s management and other employees, Sura said.“I’m a CMU graduate,” Sura said.

I guess what Sura is saying is that Sura is the boss and a CMU graduate, and Sura thinks that shit is disrespectful and bad for business.  Sura isn’t an idiot, but that employee certainly is.

Even though that move wasn’t management-approved, I’m still going to Taco Boy from now on if I’m in Mt. Pleasant and in the mood for Mexican food.  It’s better anyway.
